I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Clinical Counselor (California MFC #49725, LPCC #1339) and I love that I get to work with aliveness everyday: helping people drop more deeply into their experience, befriend all parts of themselves, and become more present.

I have been around the block a few times. It is almost impossible to shock me, though I am happy for you to try. I can hold a very large, non-judgmental space for inquiry.

I have never encountered a type of transformational program that I didn’t try. I started by forging my mother’s signature to get into the est training when I was 17. Since then, I’ve continued trying everything. I was raised in the religion of psychoanalysis, and I still believe that is one of the most impactful, profound rewiring experiences a person can have. One type of change that I didn’t embrace for the longest time was 12-step recovery, until I finally did.

I argued with Allen Ginsburg at the Naropa Institute when he said something was “like virgin pussy,” and I once explained to Helen Mirren the difference between baking soda and baking powder in line at Trader Joe’s.

More official professional details are below but here I wanted to give you a sense of who you’d meet in working with me.  In my spare time I like cooking and fermenting without recipes, and advancing at Pickleball.

If you think you’re enlightened, go spend a week with your family.        —Ram Dass
